I have a background in mental health nursing. For over twenty five years, I have worked extensively with individuals, couples, groups and as a supervisor. My theoretical orientation is integrative, utilising my training and supervision in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural therapy and Group Analysis. I worked for many years as a community psychiatric nurse in the N.H.S., but now I am in Private Practice as a counsellor, supervisor and trainer. I work with clients on either a short or long term basis. I have successfully completed a Masters Degree in Professional Studies (Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice) and am currently undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Skills and Studies.
